I am a short-form filmmaker. I produce and direct narrative and documentary
film, using animation, non-linear and experimental film techniques, as well as
installation and artists' film. I produce work with small groups of friends, or in a
community setting, for artistic reasons: I want to celebrate the joy of the
filmmaking process itself, and explore its value as a tool for individual and social
change. A detailed knowledge of industrial film 'craft' is visible in my work, and I
believe that in a supportive environment, anyone can take on the most specific
technical or creative roles. My work has been shown at the BFI, ICA, Barbican,
in basements & friends' living rooms, and in national and international festivals.
