Empower Change with Tech, Values and Balls
I'm a 23-year-old entrepreneur-minded euro/green/geek citizen exploring new technologies and the emerging social context to empower change.
I have thus a particular focus on P2P-Economy, Open & Hack logics (open source/design/data, DIY...) and their iteration in Impact Entrepreneurship processes.
I already tried to launch my own venture on sharing-economy: BookSurfing, the P2P system for physical books between neighbours, friends and communities. The project is today in stand-by but I'll be back on that one day ;)
I'm currently finishing my studies, a Master in management, in Bavaria (Ingolstadt). I will thus be busy writing a master thesis for the next 6 months, on a particularly exciting subject (from my point of view):
"Rethink Ethical Marketing after the critics of Bernard Stiegler and its implementation in the emerging technological and sociological context"
I want to show that sustainable development, as we know it today, largely forget the psychological impact of the economic activity on both workers and consumers (cf Stiegler) and that, in the emerging technological, economical and sociological context, with the disruptive innovations to come (such as a complex information system empowering the indiviual in his daily life, enabling him to apply systematically and painlessly his convictions on environmental, social or even political aspects), this vision of what is a responsible marketing might accelerate the transition from production-growth focused marketing by any mean to project, impact and meaning-led marketing.
(I'm just at the begining of this work, excuse me if it looks messy for the moment ;) )
I consider this work as a environment-study for my next project, namely this complex information system, for which I will start to actively look for tech and design talents in the coming months. Indeed, if think that the day we will be able to easily choose the valuable alternative to what might look today to be our only few buying choices, we -as citizen- will be able to be daily activists for the causes we defend: I want to consume local and healthy, I want to help creative peoples grow their activity, I want Monsanto-style toxic business-models to disappear and Facebook & Co. to respect our rights and interests... All those issues are matters of information and, unfortunately might neither be solved by actions such as Anonymous DDoS or Avaaz campaigns: the true lever is money. If we can easily choose the best alternative and share our best practices in a opensource, decentralized and thus independant and resilient way, we might drastically accelerate the creative destruction to make the economic activity fit the sustainable society to come.
I'm also a proud OuiShare member, the growing trans-national (but europe-centered) sharing-economy community.
Last but not least, I'm fond of pizza
